Magnitude 6.4 Earthquake Hits Ilocos Region, Philippines – March 20, 2011


March 20, 2011. At 8:00:50 UTC, a 5.5 magnitude earthquake hits the Taiwan Region. The earthquake fortunately didn’t leave any damage/casualties to the buildings and people of Taiwan.

The location of the earthquake in Taiwan is about 800 kilometers away north of the Philippines, and the earthquake occured nearly the same time as in Ilocos Region, at 4:00 in the afternoon.

First is Japan, the 8.9 magnitude earthquake with tsunami…

Now March 20, 2011, Earthquakes strike certain places in Taiwan and in the Philippines. Earthquakes are being felt at the countries here in Southeast Asia.
